Lucinda Rooney, a teacher at St Albans RC High School, has netted a six-figure sum following a claim that chronic pain syndrome has ruined her life The cause of her suffering was a coach crash she was involved in during September 2001. An out-of-court settlement has been reached with the coach operators, Cedric Garages Ltd.
She was travelling in the coach as part of a school party, when the vehicle ploughed into a roundabout, mounting the verge and smashing into a fence. Ms Rooney suffered head injuries, after being thrown from her seat. She spent three days in hospital. Even now she suffers headaches and blurred vision as a result of the vehicle accident. Back |
